Job Summary
Organise campers for scheduled activities and meals while engaging in a variety of outdoor games and entertainment for campers aged 8–14. Build relationships with young people, mentor them, and collaborate with a team to provide a positive, nurturing environment. Support daily operations by meeting new people and delivering fun, engaging care throughout the 2027 Summer Camp. Requires a passion for outdoor activities, camping, music, drama, and youth leadership, along with experience working with children and a good level of physical fitness. Applicants must confirm they are 18 years or older as of January 1, 2027 (16 for Junior Counsellors), and will submit a resume and two referees for review in October.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for outdoor activities, camping, music, drama and/or youth leadership
- Experience working with children
- A good level of physical fitness
- Confirmation of whether you will be 18 years or older as of 1 January 2027
Desired Qualifications
- Previous camp experience and/or an interest in pursuing further studies in education, outdoor recreation, or youth work
