Job Summary
Plans and coordinates summer camp programs and activities for school-aged participants, including field trips and excursions, ensuring proper payment and safety practices. Provides transportation for participants by driving a 15-passenger van. Trains and guides part-time or seasonal staff, communicates with parents regarding participants, and collects payments for activities. Requires skills in interaction, written and oral communication, and the ability to perform CPR and first aid.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience working with school-aged children
- CPR and First Aid certifications required or ability to attain within 30 days of hire
- Valid Driver’s License
Additional Requirements
- Must satisfactorily complete a driving record check, central registry and criminal background check prior to commencing employment
