Job Summary
Perform general maintenance of the building, including painting, repairs, and resolving difficult problems. Maintain and repair fitness equipment, service and inspect vans, and keep related records. Order supplies, maintain grounds by mowing and weeding, and replace basic items like soap and light bulbs. Set up furniture for special events and provide day-to-day instructions to volunteers and staff. Report and resolve building problems while ensuring safety and security. Requires one year of related experience in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Full-time or part-time roles offer membership to the YMCA of Greater Seattle, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement contributions, and free access to mental health resources.
