Job Summary
The Camp Childcare Worker is responsible for providing childcare services for staff’s children, ensuring proper meal intake, personal hygiene, and engaging in learning and development activities. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of the childcare property, assisting with bedtime routines, and participating in physical activities with children. The role requires physical endurance, coordination, communication skills, and a commitment to the organization’s religious mission.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language
- Endurance for physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, and stretching
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Normal range of hearing and eyesight
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certification
