Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Sports & Recreation department for a client account, organizing and running leagues, tournaments, and events; manage field schedules and roster signups; maintain inventory of sports equipment and facilities; deliver high-quality customer experiences and align activities with client goals; track participation and gather feedback for improvements; mentor and coach staff as needed. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 1+ years of relevant experience, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in sports management, recreation operations, intramural activities, or customer service (relevant internships considered)
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools
- Passion for sports, fostering community, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Proven ability to mentor and coach team members while building strong relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an outgoing personality and a talent for providing outstanding customer service
