Job Summary
Operate studio cameras, lighting consoles, and vision control systems while managing integrated ancillaries to ensure high technical quality, exposure, luminosity, and colour balance. Maintain overall picture quality by applying in-depth knowledge of studio lighting principles and paying strict attention to health and safety during cable installation. Collaborate effectively with the Studio Operations team, providing assistance to the Studio Director, Floor Managers, and producers as needed. Work within a fast-paced, multi-disciplined environment requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- high degree of technical proficiency in camera and lighting operation

- To perform duties in the operation of studio cameras, lighting consoles, vision control monitoring, together with a requirement to operate all integrated ancillaries
- To operate studio cameras to a high standard with particular reference to technical quality requirements
- in-depth knowledge of studio lighting principles
- Operation of camera exposure, luminosity and colour balance controls and maintain overall picture quality
- An excellent knowledge of audio and video principals
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A keen eye for detail, with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a constantly changing television environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work as part of a team
