Job Summary
Inspect PCB image aspects including mechanical, electrical, solder mask, and silkscreen layers using the Genesis CAM system. Validate customer data files (Gerber, ODB++, drill, netlists) and optimize penalization, tooling, and drill programs. Identify and resolve DFM issues while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, IPC requirements, and customer specifications. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support quick-turn, high-mix production environments. Work closely with company procedures and critical timelines to maintain quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 2 – 5 years of CAM experience in a PCB manufacturing environment
- Expert knowledge of PCB fabrication processes, materials, and design rules
- Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Genesis or In CAM)
- Strong understanding of multilayer stackups, impedance control, and advanced PCB technologies
- Ability to interpret complex customer drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the extent necessary to perform the job
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC
- being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
- recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
- understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
- understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
- manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
