Job Summary
Lead a team of leaders at a neighboring high school, managing ministry events, fundraising, and the implementation of summer and school-season camping strategies. Direct contact work through clubs and Campaigners while developing a yearly ministry strategy to reach every student. Oversee volunteer care, recruiting, and training for new leaders, ensuring adherence to Young Life's Statement of Faith and biblical standards. Manage finances, donor care, and accurate data records using mission-wide applications. Maintain professionalism in office hours, dress, and conduct while engaging with key community adults including parents and pastors. Serve on a summer assignment at a Young Life camp annually.
Required Qualifications
- Profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord
- Subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff, including the Young Life Statement of Faith
- Be ready, willing and able to fulfill such ministry functions as may be required by the organization
- Refrain from conduct and statements that detract from the biblical standards taught and supported by Young Life
- Abide by all policies and practices of Young Life including, without limitation, those related to religious belief or ministry activities
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Live locally
