Job Summary

Proactively build relationships with students, alumni, and employers to coach them through self-discovery, major exploration, and career preparation. Develop digital and print resources, lead small-group workshops, and assist in planning annual events like career fairs and the senior launch. Maintain accurate student meeting records on Handshake, administer the First Destination Survey, and respond to communications professionally. Actively participate in consortium job fairs and support employer recruitment on campus. Collaborate with the Student Development team and adhere to Geneva's mission and core values.

  • Must have sufficient manual dexterity to be able to operate all office equipment including, but not limited to computers, printers, copiers, scanners, and telephones
  • Must be able to reason, analyze, prioritize, conceptualize, make judgments, and solve problems
  • Individuals must recognize that management of data, including personal information, grades, budgets, programs, and policies is necessary to the operation of the College
  • Such information must be kept private and confidential for the protection of the College and to obey Federal and/or State laws

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Higher Education, Student Affairs, MBA, Counseling or Equivalent
  • Other degree programs will be considered when combined with relevant experience
  • Preference will be given to the candidate who supports and has an articulate understanding of the Reformed faith
