Job Summary
Develop a mixed-methods baseline study to assess community vulnerability and human rights conditions across East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Conduct field research, including surveys, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions in targeted neighborhoods. Analyze collected data to establish baseline values for project indicators and produce a comprehensive report detailing findings, methodology, and limitations. Submit an inception report, draft and final baseline reports, and present key findings to stakeholders within a two-month timeline.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced university degree in social sciences, international development, human rights, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in conducting baseline studies, evaluations, and human rights research in the Palestine/Israel context
- Strong understanding of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and International Human Rights Law (IHRL)
- Proven experience with EU-funded project reporting and M&E standards
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
