Call for Consultant - Copy writer for Impact Assessment Platforms

Job Summary
Consultant Copywriter to develop content for IIX's technology-enabled impact platforms including IIX Values and IIX Intelligence. This is a project-based engagement for a professional who understands the intersection of technology, finance, and social impact and can translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and purposeful copy. The Consultant will work with Strategic Initiatives and Communications teams to produce content for a global audience of investors, development sector professionals, and impact enterprises. Not a traditional staff role; self-directed with minimal hand-holding. Key deliverables include platform & product copywriting, content & communications, and brand & narrative materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, International Development, or a related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of copywriting or content strategy experience, preferably in technology, fintech, or development sector contexts
- Proven portfolio demonstrating strong digital copywriting — platform UI, product content, and/or B2B content
- Excellent command of English with the ability to write clearly, persuasively, and accessible for varied audiences
- Experience adapting complex technical or financial concepts into engaging, reader-friendly content
- Proven ability to work as a self-starter, manage feedback across multiple stakeholders, and meet deadlines
