Job Summary
As an Intake Call Specialist, you will respond to inquiries for mental health treatment, document calls and related information, and coordinate referrals to appropriate services. The role requires proficiency in multi-function telephone systems and computer data entry, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with preferred experience in the intake process and knowledge of psychiatric care.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of CPR/ First Aid certification and CPI training within 90 days of employment
- Ability to operate multi-line phones and other medical office equipment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the intake or admissions process
- Knowledge of psychiatric patient care and mental illness
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with insurance verification sites
