Job Summary
Provide member and potential member assistance over the phone, via email and secured messages; explain products and services, promote credit union offerings, respond to questions, and direct calls to appropriate areas. Handle account questions, online banking issues, and credit card disputes; assist with membership applications and wire transfers; act as membership officer and support other departments as needed. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a full-time, weekday schedule in a call center environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months to two years of similar or related experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to type 30 wpm
- Moderate PC proficiency
