Job Summary
Respond to alarm activations, place outbound calls to inform clients of security events, and monitor video for incidents. Process all contacts received through the in-house system or phones, obtain pertinent request information, and initiate data updates for incorrect customer or system data. Handle temporary special admit clearances, process building arm requests, and communicate with departments to resolve client issues. Respond to all building emergency calls including police dispatch requests for suspicious persons, elevator emergencies, and fire-related calls. Maintain clean Operations Center areas and workstations, and perform special projects as assigned by the Shift Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Prior customer service and/or security experience
- Neat, professional appearance
- Available to work various shifts and holidays as needed
- Excellent customer service skills and phone demeanor
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic and routine troubleshooting capability
- Ability to interface and communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner
- Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking capability
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good typing skills and ability to operate a standard computer terminal and keyboard
- Ability to perform detailed work, interpret data, and apply knowledge and/or skills within a time-sensitive call center environment
- Must be able to meet and maintain various certifications, licenses and/or registrations, in accordance with applicable state laws and as required by the electronic security regulations in the state (s) worked
- Must be willing to participate in and pass the company's pre-employment screening process including a background investigation and drug screening
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced education/associate degree preferred
- NTX and Alarmist qualified a plus
- Multilingual a plus
