Job Summary
Facilitate new patients with forms and inquiries prior to their first appointment, engage with those who missed or canceled, and address concerns over the phone. Handle business-related calls across locations, assist in scheduling, and educate patients on services, insurance, and operational hours. Follow up with inbound leads promptly, interact courteously, and efficiently utilize Electronic Medical Records and Salesforce to record details. Collaborate with insurance providers to obtain authorizations and verify coverage, while documenting referrals in AthenaOne and CRM systems. Undertake general clerical tasks and uphold HIPAA compliance consistently. Work Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., earning $18-$22 per hour with comprehensive benefits including PTO, 401(k), and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in inside sales, customer service, patient services, or similar roles
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across different experience levels, backgrounds, and cultures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
- Adaptable, versatile, and willing to work in an evolving environment
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be available for Monday through Saturday shifts
- Must be available for shifts from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Must be able to work in Forest Hills, NY
Desired Qualifications
- College or Junior College Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems, particularly AtheaOne
- Familiarity with medical terminology and prior experience with insurance verification
- Bilingual capabilities
- CRM experience, particularly Salesforce
