Job Summary
Provide exceptional guest service and manage guest communication on behalf of all Resort departments. Support total operations of Glenwood Hot Springs Resort by providing Resort information to all guests and accurately recording all reservations and guest requests. Operate a computer to perform data entry and retrieval in the hospitality system application while following Lodging department Front Desk policies and procedures. Maintain positive guest satisfaction as the primary goal while communicating effectively verbally and in writing in English. Work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends to meet the needs of the Lodging department, which operates twenty-four hours a day seven days a week.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and follow verbal or written instructions in English
- Adequate computer skills to be able to learn and perform necessary department computer tasks (data entry and retrieval in hospitality system application.)
- Capability to learn and follow all Lodging department Front Desk policies and procedures accurately
- Positive attitude with guest satisfaction as primary goal
- Adequate physical agility to perform the physical tasks required to operate the Lodging department front desk including ability to operate a computer, type and stand for long periods of time up to several hours at a time
- Able to push, pull, carry and lift up to 30 pounds
- Work hours and days must be flexible, including nights, holidays, and weekends
