Job Summary
Remote, part-time attorney role (~20 hours/week) supporting transactional and corporate practice for healthcare clients. Draft and review transactional and corporate documents (contracts, independent contractor agreements, entity formation materials) and provide California-specific transactional support. Review and negotiate contract terms for clients or practices, assist with day-to-day business and corporate structuring for small- to mid-sized healthcare practices and management services organizations, deliver client-ready work on agreed timelines, and engage in continuing education relevant to the firm’s transactional practice. Requires active California bar and Illinois residency; mid-career with 4+ years post-bar experience. Compensation is $62,500–$68,500 annually for part-time schedule; benefits include PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k) eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Actively barred in California
- Minimum four years of post-bar, non-litigation experience
- Residing in Illinois
- Experience in preparation and negotiation of contracts
- Experience in regulatory and transactional work (not litigation) with general transactional, corporate, or contracts background
- Detail-oriented with ability to deliver error-free work on tight deadlines
- Ability to work remotely on a part-time schedule
