Job Summary
Fully remote, fully licensed trauma therapist in California to join Nema Health’s clinician-led virtual clinic. Provide high-fidelity CPT and evidence-based psychotherapies for PTSD and co-occurring conditions, with a 6-week intensive care model and ~26 hours/week of direct face-to-face clinical sessions. Roles include comprehensive assessment/triage, crisis risk management, group facilitation (e.g., DBT skills groups), care coordination with administrative and cross-provider teams, and meticulous clinical documentation. Role requires active CA licensure and willingness to cross-license in up to 10 states; advanced degrees (PhD/PsyD with post-doc experience or independently licensed Master’s-level clinician such as LCSW/LMFT/LMHC/LPC) and strong diagnostic, communication, and autonomous working skills. Preferred CPT training and DBT/trauma-focused modality experience, plus supervisory or management background and experience in digital health startups. The position supports growth opportunities, ongoing CPT supervision, and national patient availability with flexible scheduling across time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Active independent clinical license in CA
- Willing to be cross-licensed in up to 10 states
- PhD or PsyD with at least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, OR an independently licensed Master’s-level clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, etc.)
- Prior formal training and certification in CPT (preferred)
- Robust training in DBT or trauma-focused modalities (e.g., Prolonged Exposure, EMDR) (preferred)
- Prior clinical supervisory or management experience (preferred)
- Experience working in a startup or digital health environment (preferred)
- Willingness to work two days/week 11:00–19:30 and three days/week 9:00–17:30 in local time zone (to accommodate national patient availability)
