Job Summary
The Duckhorn Portfolio seeks a California Chain Sales Representative to drive maximum sales in select chain accounts across Central LA with responsibilities including introducing new products, maintaining shelf/display activity, monitoring in-store promotions, and collaborating with liquor managers and store directors to maximize exposure of Duckhorn wines. You will use POS materials, ensure compliance with planners and promotions, and build retailer trust through product knowledge and procedures. Requires Associate degree or related experience, wine industry knowledge, strong communication, math and computer skills, presentation and administrative abilities, plus willingness to travel up to 90% and operate a personal vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree and/or equivalent related experience
- Wine industry knowledge
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong math and computer skills
- Strong presentation and administrative skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, which include early morning, some evenings, and/or weekends
- Ability to travel within the territory up to 90% of the time
- Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state car registration, insurance, and a clean driving record required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
