Job Summary
Calibrations Lab Technician responsible for maintaining the lab at Ipsen’s Vacuum Furnace Center of Excellence in Cherry Valley, IL, coordinating calibrations and equipment deliveries to regional service technicians, calibrating electronics/instruments for Ipsen USA, providing SME-level remote support for calibrations, and maintaining calibration documentation and equipment logs. Requires knowledge of ISO 17025, AMS 2750, and related technical references; duties include sourcing TC types, MV signals, and voltage simulations, developing work instructions and process improvements, training field service personnel on calibration procedures, and collaborating with management to address calibration challenges.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Advanced education or related technical training beyond high school strongly preferred
- Prior experience working with Calibration equipment
- familiarity with AMS 2750 systems is required
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance strongly desired
