Job Summary
Calibration Technician responsible for performing calibrations across a wide range of equipment (pressure, temperature, flow, conductivity) using calibration standards; operate calibration standards and tools; may perform filter certification, troubleshooting, and preventive/predictive maintenance; apply cGMP and regulatory requirements (APHIS, VMD, OSHA); may handle Hazardous Waste and HAZWOPER duties; contribute to training and job progression; works in an industrial, potentially hot/cold/ultra-clean environment with PPE and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED required
- A technical aptitude
- Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical (preferred)
- Relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing (preferred)
- Previous calibration experience (highly preferred)
- Experience in regulated (FDA, USDA, etc.) or GMP-industry (preferred)
- Valid driver's license may be required
