Job Summary
Calibration Technician responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing solar cells and laser measurement equipment. You will calibrate and test equipment, document results, create and manage calibration schedules, troubleshoot deviations, ensure regulatory and internal quality standards, maintain tools and records, provide technical support on calibration processes, and update work instructions for photovoltaic calibration. The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent vocational training, proficiency with Windows/Excel/Word, ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments, and 0-1 year in testing digital/analog systems. Typical environment is a laboratory/manufacturing setting with safety considerations and potential physical demands.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word
- 0-1 year experience in testing digital and/or analog systems
- Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments
