Calibration Technician

Job Summary
Calibration Technician responsible for calibrating measurement devices to known standards using hydraulic or dead-weight equipment. Duties include assembling bases to load cells, installing in test equipment, reviewing travelers for proper calibration testing, printing certificates of calibration, performing assembly operations, using torque wrenches, and working with computers. Must collaborate in a production shop with heavy machinery, maintain precision, follow standardized procedures, and ensure accurate data is released to the database. Requires ability to read English, basic mechanical/technical skills, and willingness to work in a team and individually; shift is 1st shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM). Training available if needed and background checks/drug screens may be required. AAP/EEO statement included. Education requirement is high school diploma or GED, with no formal calibration experience required. The employer is Interface, Inc., a force measurement solutions provider with a manufacturing and calibration laboratory.
