Job Summary
Conduct onsite and workshop calibration for process instruments including pressure, temperature, level, and flow. Interpret schematic drawings, manage technical documentation, and maintain accurate records with a focus on safe working practices. Self-manage work while participating in training and mentoring apprentices within the company's large program. Work to production and calibration schedules, solving technical problems and adhering to IANZ accreditation and ISO standards. Based at the Taupo facility with potential site travel across the North Island.
Required Qualifications
- Working rights in New Zealand
- Recognised Industry qualifications in instrumentation, calibration or related field
- NCEA Level 3 with Calculus and Statistics
- A minimum of two years' relevant laboratory calibration or instrumentation experience
- Experience calibrating process instrument (pressure, temperature, level, flow, etc.)
- The ability to interpret schematic drawings and understand and manage technical documentation
- The ability to problem solve
- Focus and attention to detail
- Effective communication at all levels
- The ability to help create and work to production and calibration schedules
- A commitment to Entec's Health, Safety and Quality culture
- To be willing to work as part of a dynamic team
- At least 2+ years of experience
Desired Qualifications
- Good understanding with IANZ accreditation, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025, and ISO 15189 systems
