Job Summary
Calibration Technician responsible for performing accurate lab and on-site calibrations, communicating with clients to provide service updates, maintaining calibration records, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards. The role supports both entry-level candidates and those with experience, with training provided on hire, and emphasizes learning mechanical/technical skills, attention to detail, and strong customer-facing communication while traveling to customer sites and the Holt branch in South Windsor, CT.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations in the South Windsor, CT
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields (nice to have)
- Technical Degree or Certificate (nice to have)
- Military PMEL Training (nice to have)
- Metrology experience (nice to have)
- Experience with IndySoft (nice to have)
