Job Summary
Perform calibrations on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning test equipment and measurement devices. Document calibration results accurately and maintain detailed calibration records. Develop and implement calibration procedures in accordance with industry standards. Maintain calibration standards and ensure their proper handling and storage. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address calibration-related issues. This role requires an Associate's degree in electronics or metrology and 2+ years of experience. Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calipers is essential. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in electronics, metrology, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in calibration, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using and troubleshooting a wide range of test and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers)
- Solid understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI Z540)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and calibration procedures
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and repairing equipment
