Job Summary
Calibration Technician will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of electronic and mechanical test equipment at customer sites (Huntersville, NC and surrounding areas) with travel required. Responsibilities include planning testing/calibration procedures, calibrating and adjusting equipment (electrical, mechanical, pressure, torque, environmental, dimensional, and RF instrumentation), creating/updating data sheets, maintaining databases, managing customer relationships, and ensuring timely turnaround. Level I–III progression with two years’ experience for Level II and above; travel up to 80% annually; valid driver’s license and background check; ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation context and professional development opportunities are in scope.
Required Qualifications
- Two years experience (Level II) in related field preferred
- Electronics/electrical/mechanical calibration experience preferred
- Ability to travel to customers nationwide up to 80%
- Valid driver’s license and background check
- PV: PMEL/TMDE training preferred
