Job Summary
Plan testing sequences and calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, pressure, torque, environmental, dimensional, and radio frequency instrumentation at customer facilities. Create and maintain data sheets while managing databases for customers, vendors, and equipment. Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and drive timely equipment turnaround. Travel up to 80% of the year, including overnight stays and weekend trips, to various locations in the United States. Requires a valid driver's license and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Level II and above: at least two years of experience in a related field
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must pass a background security check
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers' locations throughout the United States for up to one week at a time
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations with frequent overnight, out-of-state travel, Monday through Friday, up to 80% of the year
- This may also include rare weekend travel
Desired Qualifications
- Electronics technician experience
- Electrical, electronic, or mechanical calibration experience
- Military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training
- Technical knowledge of electronic principles
- Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment
- An entrepreneurial attitude and desire to grow within an organization
- Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly
- Can adapt to multiple different work environments and settings
- Are customer-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Are a person who is punctual, respectful, and honest with a positive attitude
- Have excellent attention to detail
