Job Summary
Calibration Technician role focused on performing calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance within a manufacturing setting. Requires extensive calibration experience and knowledge of safety standards, along with the ability to develop solutions in client environments.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of calibration experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and 4-20mA transmitters (loop calibrations)
- Proficient in calibration including loop checks, humidity, temperature, and pH checks
- Experience with process equipment, utilities, manufacturing, and some lab instruments
- High attention to detail, with the ability to produce detailed reports referencing standards or established limits/parameters
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred, training provided if needed
- Quality System / Pharmaceutical experience is preferred
- Expanded understanding of Traceability, Substitution of Standards, and Test Accuracy and Uncertainty Ratios
- Basic understanding and application of GMP's and Life Science Industry regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with clients and coworkers
- Thorough electrical panel knowledge and safety practices
