Job Summary
Calibrate electronic and mechanical measuring and testing equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, gauges, and environmental devices, both in the lab and at customer locations. Perform basic mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations while traveling on-site to regional sites, with 30% overnight travel required. Work 40+ hours per week with occasional overtime, weekend work, and the ability to lift 60 pounds. Maintain a clean driving record and pass background checks and drug screens. This role supports Applied Technical Services' mission to deliver assurance through precise technical services in the Bartlett, TN area.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- 1+ years previous experience in electronic equipment calibration
- experience using electronic and/or physical / dimensional, or mechanical measurement equipment
- Commercial or Military experience
- ability to work 40 plus hours per week
- ability to lift 60 pounds
- clean driving record
- background check
- drug screen
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylum seeker)
Desired Qualifications
- associate's in electronic or mechanical related program
- background in electronics
- mechanical / dimensional calibration experience
