Job Summary
Calibrate electronic and mechanical inspection, measuring, and testing equipment in the lab and at customer sites, including AC/DC low voltage devices, micrometers, calipers, and temperature/humidity instruments. Collaborate with team members on projects or independently, utilizing strong communication and computer skills to ensure precise technical services. Travel 30% overnight to local and regional customer locations, requiring a clean driving record and ability to fly to job sites occasionally. Work 40+ hours per week with occasional overtime and weekend coverage, lifting up to 60 pounds. This role supports Applied Technical Services' mission to deliver assurance through critical testing and compliance services for manufacturing, aerospace, and defense sectors.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Associate's in electronic or mechanical related program
- 1+ years previous experience in electronic equipment calibration
- experience using electronic and/or physical / dimensional, or mechanical measurement equipment
- Commercial or Military experience
- ability to work 40 plus hours per week
- ability to lift 60 pounds
- clean driving record
