Job Summary
Calibrate mechanical and electronic measuring test equipment for clients across manufacturing, aerospace, and defense markets. Perform basic knowledge of mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations using micrometers, precision dimensional measurement tools, weight/gram scales, pressure measurement equipment, pin gages, torque wrenches, and torque analyzers. Travel up to 50% in-state and regionally within a 6-hour range of Orlando, FL, requiring driving and occasional flying to job sites. Work 40+ hours per week with overtime and weekend availability. Provide own cell phone with data plan for ATS email and multi-factor authentication. Lift 60 pounds. Maintain clean driving record, background check, and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical calibration
- Experience with Micrometers and precision dimensional measurement tools
- Experience with Weight/gram scales
- Experience with Pressure measurement and calibration equipment
- Experience with Pin gages and fixed-limit gaging systems
- Experience with Torque wrenches and torque analyzers
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work 40 plus hours per week
- Ability to lift 60 pounds
- Clean driving record
- Background check
- Drug screen
- Access to information subject to U.S. export controls under U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylum seeker)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Trade school degree
- MET/CAL certification
- Military training (PMEL, 2POX1, 94H, ET/ETN, 12P, TMDE)
- Avionics experience
- ISO 17025 knowledge
