Calibration Technician- 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Conduct routine and non-routine instrument calibrations, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on processing and packaging equipment. Set up standards and special purpose laboratory equipment to evaluate instruments, researching specifications and techniques as needed. Adjust instruments to meet calibration tolerance requirements and participate in continuous improvement functions to increase efficiency and solve problems. Ensure timely support for manufacturing, packaging, quality, and other departments using current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) equipment. Work the 3rd shift in a 100% onsite role at Simtra BioPharma Solutions, reporting to the Calibration Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Associate Degree (AA) preferred
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator
- Must be able to lift, push/pull, and carry up to 55 pounds
- Must be able to qualify for Grade B gowning
- Must be available for overtime work, including nights and weekends
- Must be available for 3rd shift
- Must be 100% onsite
