Job Summary

Install, calibrate, test, and repair instruments monitoring environmental conditions in a manufacturing facility, including oscilloscopes, calipers, pressure gauges, and temperature controllers. Diagnose faults to ensure quality standards while performing highly specialized technical tasks and leading research initiatives to optimize project outcomes. Collaborate with engineers to design custom devices and control systems, ensuring smooth operational processes and team efficiency. Adhere strictly to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and completing required training for continuous improvement and compliance. This role supports Alcon's Engineering function, which improves quality and processes across the business to deliver brilliant outcomes in eye health.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Must maintain accurate and complete documentation
  • Must ensure rigorous quality control
  • Must complete all required training
  • Must commit to continuous improvement
  • Must commit to compliance with regulatory requirements
