Calibration Project Manager - Gasoline Systems

Job Summary
Lead interactions with Global OEM customers on requirements engineering and drive projects for functional calibration across the product development lifecycle. Coordinate technical topics with stakeholders, manage project planning, timelines, deliveries, and budget control while overseeing resource allocation and quality assurance. Facilitate customer meetings, status reviews, and reporting activities, guiding the team on technical aspects and daily department operations. Prepare project documentation, audit requirements, and closure reports to ensure safe, timely, and professional delivery of engine management systems and testing techniques.
Required Qualifications
- 10 to 12 years of relevant work experience (Mechanical / Automotive)
- Experienced in technically leading / working on calibration development projects
- Excellent knowledge of powertrain systems and sub-systems
- Experience in working with Global OEMs
- Experience in Stake Holder management, Cost Control, Project Planning
- Experience in Test Vehicle Management as per the predefine procedure
- Experience in Automation and tools development
- Good Skills in Leading Teams & Day-to-day Project Activities
- Good knowledge of developing engine management systems and testing techniques
- Ability to use model-based calibration tools e.g. Uniplot, Cameo, ASCMO, AVL Puma, etc.
- Ability to understand, interpret and evaluate numerical data
- Knowledge of Modelling and Simulation techniques
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems
- Sound understanding of engine combustion processes and emissions formulation
- Knowledge and experience INCA and ETAS tools
- Skilled in statistical testing techniques i.e. Design of Experiments (DoE)
- Complete work in a safe, timely and professional manner with the minimum of supervision
- Flexibility to undertake additional task to meet business requirements
- Highly motivated, keen to learn and share knowledge
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to travel as and when required
Desired Qualifications
- Hands On Experience on Engine & Vehicle Functional Calibrations
- PMP Certificate & Other Relevant Project Management Certificates & Trainings
- Exposure to advanced technologies, including GenAI, to support automation Calibration & engineering processes
- B.E (Mechanical / Automotive)
- 10 - 12 Years
