Caleb Brett Petroleum Inspector II

The Petroleum Inspector is responsible for volume measurement, temperature measurement and sampling of commodity materials contained or conveyed in lines, shore tanks, cars, tank trucks and barges and ships. This position will involve traveling to client locations for onsite inspections. Responsibilities include visual inspections on lines, pumps, manifolds, shore tanks, rail cars, tank trucks, barges and ships; complete custody transfer surveys of commodities transferred to and from rail cars, tank trucks, shore tanks, barges and ships; perform routine equipment calibration and function checks; maintain clean and organized work areas; adhere to Caleb Brett safety procedures; and perform duties per defined methodologies with related paperwork. The role may require varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays, with some travel and on-call work. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, basic math, TWIC, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the physical capability to perform required tasks. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and industry certifications.
