Job Summary
Perform comprehensive interior and exterior inspections of vehicles, including fit, finish, and functionality assessment, while documenting findings and coordinating directly with manufacturer representatives. Maintain a safe working environment, adhere to company policies, and work collaboratively with other teams. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid US driver's license, and experience with both automatic and manual vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
- Experience operating automatic and straight (manual) shift vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings
Desired Qualifications
- Prior vehicle inspection, quality control, or automotive industry experience
- General knowledge of automobile components and basic vehicle systems
- Ability to make sound judgment calls regarding severity and classification of defects
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise documentation and feedback
