Cake Decorator

Keep the bakery department stocked and appealing while greeting customers, answering product questions, and resolving concerns with a positive attitude. Take in-person and phone orders, determining size, flavor, and appearance needs to create finished decorated cakes and pastries in a timely fashion. Decorate products using specific designs, creams, frostings, and fillings, adhering to approved recipes and production logs. Trim, cut, and spread icing on cakes, tinting white icing to required colors, and assist in filling and merchandising the sales area. Maintain inventory levels through proper ordering and logging, assist with receiving and storing deliveries, and ensure general sanitation meets health and OSHA requirements.
