Job Summary
Decorate cakes, cookies, and other items per production schedules and customer requests while performing assigned baking and frying duties. Price, date, wrap, and bag bakery products; fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves and displays. Notify the Bakery Manager when supplies need ordering and handle spoiled or damaged goods per guidelines. Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise. Practice suggestive selling techniques and maintain a clean, attractive department. Follow all PPE, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines. Requires high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail Oriented
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
