Cake Decorator

Decorate cakes, cookies, and other bakery items per production schedules and customer requests. Perform assigned baking and frying duties, then price, date, wrap, and bag products. Fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves and displays while notifying the manager of supply needs. Handle spoiled or damaged goods per guidelines and assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise. Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department while practicing suggestive selling techniques. Adhere to all PPE, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines. This role supports the bakery department at a SpartanNash grocery store, contributing to the company's global supply chain network for fresh produce and household goods.
