Job Summary
The Cake Decorator is responsible for decorating all ordered cakes, maintaining presentation of shelves, controlling product freshness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key tasks include wrapping and pricing products, maintaining cleaning and sanitation standards, and providing courteous customer service. Additional responsibilities involve answering phones for special orders and assisting in baking as needed. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, decorative dexterity, and previous cake decorating experience.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills for customer service
- Dexterity in hands to wrap, package, and decorate products
- Ability to read and write for tagging and pricing
- Previous experience decorating cakes
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
