Job Summary
Greet guests, prepare products for sale, and maintain product levels, quality, and freshness in the bakery. Perform bakery clerk functions, sanitize cooler and freezer areas, and rotate product according to variety. Write on cakes, mix colors, master airbrush use, and follow the cake manual. Communicate guest requests and temperature breakdowns to management. Achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and profits for the cake section. Perform front porch duties, announce specials on the PA system, and assist with product receiving and storage. Required Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to read and understand information and direction
- Effective communication, guests service and selling skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
