Job Summary
Cake Team Members are responsible for the confectionary execution of all cakes, pastries and desserts, including scaling, decorating and producing items, maintaining cleanliness of the work station, stocking supplies, and ensuring cake displays are presentable for customers. The role emphasizes decorating skills, knowledge of recipes and procedures, ability to learn new products, strong teamwork and communication, food safety practices, and a customer-focused, brand-aligned attitude. Required Qualifications
- Knowledge on food producing process
- Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice/procedure
- Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge (FDA)
- Confectionery/Foods major recommended
- Food Handler’s Certificate, preferred
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to multi-task
- Multiple priority management abilities
