Job Summary
Conduct custom cake decorating, icing cupcakes, and filling products to perfection while maintaining and restocking bakery trays, display cases, and ingredient bins. Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and dynamically showcase products to assist with informed choices. Take and fill special orders for cupcakes and cakes, operate the cash register, and process credit card transactions. Package, label, and price items for display and self-service, ensuring all sanitation and safety guidelines are followed. Maintain a clean storefront and assist with additional team tasks as needed. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Is 18 years of age or older
- Ability to decorate custom cakes
- Can interpret, understand, and follow instructions with ease
- Brings a positive attitude
- Works well with others as a team member
- Has a passion for serving people and creating memorable customer experiences
- Must be 18 years or older to use sharp knives, ladders, scaffolds (or substitutes above 6 feet), or operate powered equipment
- Weekend and holiday shifts may be required
