Job Summary
Cake Decorator at Dairy Queen in Henderson, NV. Responsible for preparing and decorating cakes according to customer specifications (including special orders and walk-in cake requests), operating and maintaining the cake production area per PRIDE standards, ensuring guest satisfaction through quality, value, service, and cleanliness, and working as a team to support fast-paced service. duties include assembling and decorating soft serve and Blizzard cakes, using icing, gel, decorating kits, air brush, and edible images, maintaining inventory and display of cakes, adhering to food handling and safety standards, stocking and cleaning work areas, and communicating significant issues to management.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Move cases of food/paper products up to 50 pounds
- Stock ice in soft drink dispensers
- Read order monitors
- Interact with public and co-workers
- Maintain sanitary cake production area
- Prepare and decorate cakes according to specifications
- Operate cake production area per PRIDE standards
- Maintain inventory of decorated cakes
- Team-based work to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness
- Follow health regulations and food handling procedures
