Job Summary
Assistant CSC Team Leader role within The Salvation Army in Cairns requires assisting the Team Leader with operation and administration of Cairns Street Chaplains Limited Services and supporting street outreach (including overnight program). Responsibilities include assisting with volunteer management, greeting community members, providing rest and recovery support with referral pathways, contributing to client-focused care, ensuring vehicle/equipment readiness, completing incident reports, and supporting professional development. The role involves on-call leadership for volunteers, participates in service delivery improvements, and upholds TSA values. Required qualifications include Working with Children Check, a valid driver’s licence, First Aid, and a Certificate IV in Administration or equivalent, with experience in community services and competent computer skills.
