Job Summary
Hands-on maintenance role in Cairns maintaining travel & tourism rollingstock, including Kuranda Scenic Railway trains. Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and fault-finding across rollingstock, support carriage overhaul programs, respond to in-service defects to minimise customer impact, maintain safety and accurate maintenance data in enterprise systems. Join a supportive depot team with emphasis on safety and reliability; 8-day fortnight roster; fixed term until Oct 5, 2027 with extension potential.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering Trade Certificate
- National Driver’s Licence (Class C)
