Job Summary
The Cage Teller will cash checks, tickets, and other forms of compensation in a consistently accurate and friendly manner, perform Canadian money exchanges, and input information into the check cashing system. Responsibilities include using a currency counting machine, verifying bank in the issue room, stamping and organizing vouchers, notifying supervisors of variances or suspected issues, obtaining additional cash from the money room, maintaining security of the bank and workstation, and completing all paper work in accordance with departmental policy. The role requires strong basic math and customer service skills, basic computer skills, adherence to security procedures, and participation in team meetings and training. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain a tribal gaming license, with cash handling experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a Coeur d’Alene tribal gaming license
- A minimum of six months previous cash handling experience required; two years preferred
