Job Summary
Supervise all cashiers on duty, including cashing checks, preparing fills and jackpots, checking banks out and back in, and balancing the bank. Coach and counsel employees, properly assign stations, and ensure the count team is staffed. Acknowledge customers, assist with grievances, sell chips, and issue dealer, restaurant, and player banks. Maintain a professional appearance, report counterfeit currency immediately, and complete required daily reports. Adhere to Human Resources and company policies while performing other work-related duties as assigned by management. This role operates 24 hours a day in HUSTLER Casino's Gardena location.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Gardena Police Department Work Permit
- Minimum of 1-3 years of supervisory experience and/or training in direct supervision of fifteen or more employees, cash control and protection of assets; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A High School diploma or a General Education Degree
- Strong guest service skills and the ability to ask questions and apply deductive reasoning and listening skills are essential
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and management
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and Employees
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a State of California Key Employee License
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
- Must be able to stand, bend, reach, crouch, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and/or able to push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions
- Must be able to Stand and or Sit for long periods of time
- Adult content environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 24-hour operation with a very fast paced environment
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
