Job Summary
Assist the Casino Cage/Credit Manager in protecting assets by implementing accounting policies, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations. Manage physical custodial control of all cage assets during assigned shifts, including currency transactions reporting and balancing NRT machines on the casino floor. Supervise, train, and evaluate team members while reviewing documents to ensure adherence to company policies and laws. Maintain customer credit records, audit transactions with the table games department, and resolve customer complaints or disputes. Report and research any cage variances, approve check cashing and credit issuance per established policies, and perform duties of the manager in their absence. Must be 21 years of age with prior money handling experience and ability to lift up to 26 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Prior experience with money handling transactions
- Ability to utilize basic office machines as well as 10 key, Jetsort, Jetscan, gaming ticketing kiosks, and micro-encoder
- Ability to operate CMS, ACSC, Microsoft Office, and KRONOS software and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
- Ability to lift up to 26 pounds
- Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in all facets of cage operations preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
